A Fishing Platform for the Seneca Hill Health
Facility Campus
Previously this page was about a
proposed project and asked for input and suggestions. As this project has
gone
into action here is what has evolved. Thanks to all that got
involved. Those interested in knowing more or getting involved please
do.
The Oswego County Sportsmen's Foundation,
The Oswego County Federation of Sportsmen's Clubs,
and
The Youth Advocacy Program of Oswego County
Have joined together and with a grant and
built a
Handicap Accessible Fishing Platform
at the Seneca Hill Health Campus
in Volney on the property of
Springside at Seneca Hill
This project included;
The platform (12 x 32ft), a pull off area to unload
vehicles, appropriate grading to platform, esthetic landscaping so project
matches the appearance of the adjacent grounds, and stocking.
Project Details

The youth of the Youth Advocacy Program are involved with many aspects of the project.

The grant for this project was made
available through the Youth Advocacy Program as a project to benefit the
community

Once completed this project will be open to
the public

YAP the Foundation and the Federation have
completed there portion of this project (Fall 2010)
